Limavady Rally Report. Northern Ireland.

We arrived at Limavady High School just as the light was beginning to fade on a crisp, dry November’s Evening.

The Hosts Mary and Stephen Glenn and Co-Hosts Dawn and David Caskey greeted us warmly and soon had vans checked in and parked up.

David took to Bingo calling like two little Ducks, quack, quack on Friday evening. Saturday morning the Ladies had a very successful Craft morning making Christmas Baubles. My attempt at knitting was somewhat less so but it’s a work in progress. With Mary’s help I’ll get there. The gentlemen enjoyed games of RummiKub.

The weather holding, some explored the shops, walked or enjoyed a pint in the Town. Craic as always being mighty. Our Saturday evening dancing to our guest artist and some lucky winners in the Raffle went by all too quickly.

Coffee Morning on Sunday was at the earlier time of 10am as some wanted to attend the Remembrance Service held at the Cenotaph. At the going down of the Sun, we will remember them. To have our tomorrow they gave up their day.

Congratulations to S & B Carey on their new motorhome. Good wishes to R. McEwan who is going for Knee Replacement.
